An Gael Pure Malt – Na Geanna

An Gael Na Geanna is a vatted blend of Single Malts that have spent a minimum of 4 years in Bourbon casks before being finished in mature dark Rum casks from the Caribbean island of Barbados. Na Geanna is taken from the Gaelic (Irish Language) name Na Geanna Fiaine or Wild Geese given to the Irish Jacobite army who left these shores as defeated but unbowed soldiers in the 16th and 17th centuries, to seek out new lives in foreign lands. These émigré were the first of the Irish diaspora that settled around the globe, taking their culture and identity with them. Presented at 43% (86 Proof).
